I still reckon ye're just asking for access to get thanked. Privatising the forum has somewhat negatively impacted it in terms of posters and posts. It is as we feared.

Seriously, I would like to make a plea to everyone who has access to contribute more. Even if you think you're no good at ranting please give it a shot. Otherwise, as Doc said, the forum is going to become a ghost town.

It took me a while to find out how to get access. I ended up stumbling upon it when reading the helpdesk.

I'd suggest you's make it more visible. Maybe a little link on the notice you get when you dont have permission to get into R&R. Or maybe a "R&R Access Request" forum like the soccer forum.

Somethings missing?

We all want to rant but is it the ban on politics or something....any chance of a relaxation on that...? So that people canrant about civic/local issues/policy?

Like, I fully understand boards policy on slander etc whatever! That boards law on legal liability for what is said and about who biz is could be enforced double good, total zero tolerance. Got that and I think maybe the toe could be dipped in the water?

Boards has to move with the times, how canwe rant if we can't be somewhat specific about policy/issues without mentioning individual people?

Anyway, just throwing it into the mix ...perhaps with the private status now we can rant a bit more freely?
