Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Taxi license

    Was curious about this one:
If a licensed taxi driver issues a receipt, it will show the reg of the car and their taxi license number.
If the driver uses a different car and issues a receipt, the reg will be different but shouldn't the license number be the same as before?

Different car = License No (not vehicle reg) ?
SPSV license is assigned to the driver?
So how would a taxi driver be identified from a receipt if it only contains info about the car and license # registered to the car?
If the spsv license is registered to a person and not a car, should that not be listed on the receipt as well?

SPSV Drivers Licence is a number assigned to a driver when they get thier licence, Starts with a letter and normally has four number eg A1234

SPSV Taxi Licence is the number of the roofsign and its the one that is printed out on the receipt. Usually the taxi driver is the owner of the car and the SPSV Taxi Licence is linked with the drivers SPSV Drivers Licence.

One thing that is rife is taxi's being rented out, nobody knows for sure who is driving what. I could rent out a taxi that has accumulated fines from the Taxi Regulator and not know about it. As the person who was driving it before could of been unchecked.
