Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

First of all I'm 6'2 and 104 kg. I've been going to the gym since October and just getting a feel for it really. Since October my diet has not been great I was getting takeaway 3 time a week and eating a lot of chips, sweets etc... I think the reason I kept going on and off my diet all the time was because I didn't really enjoy the food I was eating. Some weeks I would only go to the gym a day or 2 a week and not do much there. But as of last week I'm after getting serious with my diet and my time in the gym.

My goals are to loose all the fat around my stomach and hips area and build muscle all over really lol.

    My new diet:

    Meal 1 around 7:30

Varies from porridge (don't exactly lie it but I still eat it) Wheatabix, Crunchy Nut, Boiled Eggs & Toast (Brown). Milk is low fat. I hate skimmed milk.

    Meal 2 around 10:30

Fairly Basic just fruit of some sort and water.

    Meal 3 around 13:00

Low fat milk, Fruit and a sandwich (varies from brown bread, egg, lettuce, tomatoes, ham, turkey, chicken, tuna).

    Meal 4 around 16:00

Salad with lettuce, 2 boiled eggs, small bit of coleslaw, a tomato, chicken fillet or some sort of fish.
    OR
2 Chicken fillets or Some sort of fish again, a lot of veg and a small bit of potatoes.

    Meal 5 around 19:00

2 slices of soda bread with tiny bit of butter and cheese.
    OR
Wrap with chicken and some salsa sauce to give it a taste.

Don't really eat snacks but if i do it would be fruit or a handful of cashew nuts. I drink loads of water every day. I would have a protein shake after the gym and have a banana before the gym.

I'm going to try and go to the gym everyday of the week.
This is what I'm doing in the gym at the moment.

Stretch and 5 minute warm up on treadmill.

I do 30 minutes Cardio every session. (Treadmill or Bike) I'm starting interval training now and find it much more satisfying then just running at the same speed for 30 minutes.

I do different types of abdominal exercises at the end of every workout.

I don't have a proper weights program yet but I'm going to get one soon. I just do a bit of everything really when it comes to weights. I dont really know what I should do one day and what the next but im going to get a program soon.

I do 3 sets of maximum effort push-ups everyday and 5 sets of maximum effort pull-ups everyday.

Ill be getting a proper weights program soon i was looking at doing the Starting Strength Program.

I go swimming 3 days a week after the gym. I do about 20 lengths.

Is my Diet and Workout good for reaching my goals? I just want some other peoples opinions before I get too much into it.
