I bought the post the last few days, he seems to be away on holidays. It's interesting Hugh Taylor isn't around either, maybe they are buddies.:P

Thanks for that Pointbreak, I was up early this morning and was waiting for the shop to open. I got on Pricewise early but he ran no sort of race, neither did the Pricewise Extra selections, none of them even shortened up by much so I could lay them.

    Hi all,

Todays Pricewise selections are Santo Padre 3.45 Curragh, win 1pt win bet and Misty For Me 4.15 Curragh. 1pt win bet.

    Good luck

They were very easy to back, but so was today's winner. You could get 15 and 16 on betfair. A lot of people try and get the early prices and lay them back but its not as straightforward as it sounds.

The price always seems to nearly half with the bookies. The tips this weekend shortened on betfair by a few points early and then drifted out beyond the price I got.

Anyone got a better way to go about it?

You need to back with the bookies and lay on the exchanges at the same time, this will avoid you being stuck with a bet you can't lay off. To get the best possible prices use this - http://betstop.info/How-to-get-best-price-on-the-Pricewise-tips.php, fairly easy to lay off for a free bet or even green up for profit either way.
For instance I backed Santo Padre today @ 20s and Misty for Me @ 11s when they were both shorter on the exchanges. They drifted on the exchanges after that.

The prices dropped very quick(by 7.15) on the bookie sites, does this guaranteed price promise still stand?

Do you do the same for Hugh Taylor bets?

I love the moneybookers idea by the way, a mate works in a bank and told me if they see bookies on your accounts then they generally will decline loan, credit card and even mortgage application.

    Cheers

Tom is now 8 since a winner on Pricewise Extra but he gave a very rare 2 point bet in the Post yesterday that won.

Great win for pricewise extra today with Mud Monkey in the 2.15 at hutington, tipped at 7/1, I was only able to get 9/2 though unfortunately.
Segal having a great run lately with tips over the jumps.
He tipped What a Friend in the paper, he never looked cmfortable throughout the race though.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow, it should be an interesting day's tipping with the Becher chase and troytown chase.

You can figure out his pick on friday night on RP most backed.
bookies shortened pricewise selection last night after 10 o clock.
They must be getting inside info from someone.
Hugh Taylors choices were also shortened at the same time.

Its even worse than that qc3.....they are starting to shorten before 8 o clock on Betfair. They only time you can get the advised price is when they lose.

2 more ante-post bets for Cheltenham today. That makes 12 in total.
