Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This will not be a win for Arsenal. All concentration and focus is gone.

Except Eduardo has been completely ****e since he came back.

True that he hasnt been great but atleast he is playing at all after what happened. ramsey is young so he has time on his side

If you say so, sick of being on the receiving end of "tough", "hard"-playing teams and tackles to be perfectly ****ing honest.

    it's just unlucky.

it's a physical game, or at least it should be.

i've seen it, he honestly went for the ball.

i feel for Ramsey, i really really do. this is all about him and his career. but this is not an excuse to get rid of any physicality, or 'hard' but fair play. it was an honest attempt at the ball.

    Come on Arsenal !!!

the tackle from shawcross was not as bad as gallas one against bolton recently-so stop crying about physical teams, accidents happen. couple of arsenal fans are not exactly covering themselves in glory here.

Thats sad for Ramsey :/ Hopefully he'll take heart in knowing that these days, most people come back from these injuries much faster than they ever did before.

Sky don't produce the Spannish football. They basically re-broadcast the Spannish coverage and have no control over it, it's either on or off..

No, they can cut away whenever they want. They chose to show it. If they didnt want to show the dozen or so replays that went on over about 5mins until they had the chap off the pitch they could have just cut back to the studio if they wanted.

I get the feeling that you watch football for all the wrong reasons.

    What ?

I am simply pointing out that they have shown replays off such tackles before and recently. In fact the revista la liga show a couple of days later even showed the tackle again about half a dozen times. So I actually do know what I am talking about.

ah come on if it was a highly promising Liverpool player, I think you might be just a bit upset.

And you think Sky wont show it in a few days? Eduardos leg break was all over Sky News a day or two afterwards.

Like i said, be patient for a few days and you can then enjoy it in all its glory.

Of course i would, thats not wat people are taking exception to. i would not however accuse a player of being filthy if it was just an unfortunate accident.

    How did he miss

Is Campbell injured too or just lazy?
My nan would have made an attempt to get on the end of that.

I'm no Arsenal fan, I'm upset, it was a horrific injury. No point in taking your anger out on Shawcross. He didn't mean it. It was just a freak accident.

In the heat of the moment people say things when an incident like that happens, we are football fans after all, surely you can undestand that?

Of course. Seeing a player down, and Shawcross sent off, one can only assume.

    Oh grow up ffs.

That's an old trafford penaly if ever there was one.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,316 ✭✭✭✭amacachi

Looked a push on Bendtner in the box there.

    Good commentary "uncompromising challenge".

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

That was an absurd tackle by Collins, definate penalty.

It evens out the penalty Bendtener should have had after he was pushed over.

I must have missed the post where you said you were wrong to accuse a young player of deliberatly breaking another players leg

Might explain why PHB also thinks it was a penalty. :pac:
It's pretty obvious what he was doing, with the hope that the ref would think what you think.

That Bendtner push was as clear a penalty as you'll ever see.

Good to see Arsenal come back and win this one, took the a while to get going after that injury. Hopefully it shows they have the strength to keep going this time round, unlike the 07/08 season when Eduardo got injured.

For people who want to see a replay of the tackle. Warning that it is horrible :(Link
