Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone bought clothes in Tesco recently?

Was in one of the cork stores recently and was quite impressed by their range of men's clothes. Thought some of it was very good and looked well.

    Any comments or opinions?

    Bought some shirts there

Nothing spectacular, but not bad either!

OH gets the odd item out of there if things catch his eye. They have an F1 line he likes, I find all their stuff washes well and holds it's shape better than some of the expensive stuff he has, def seems to wash & last longer than Dunnes stuff.

I can't fault their jeans tho, cos I used to buy him them for work clothes, I'd get loads of them in the sales, any other ones for about 15 quid and they'd be falling apart after a month, the tesco ones lasted and are still going strong

I have bought some of their ladies clothes there.

I would recommend trying on the clothes if possible before buying. Some of there stuff is really good, but some look quite cheap and badly made once you put it on.

I've gotten some really nice stuff there, but their sizes can be funny. Make sure to try things on.

I love Tesco recently, particularly for coats!

I got a lovely big red hand bag with a lock on the front in Tesco last week. It was only €12 but it looks really good. Everyone has asked me where did I get It. I love it

They look pretty hit and miss to me but are always worth a browse. My OH bought a hoodie there a while back though and after a few washes it looks more like a belly top :) It's badly stretched and looks about 10 years old. So I wouldn't have too much faith in the long term wear of the stuff in there.

I love their jeans. well, I love the price of them anyway. I buy them 5 or 6 pair at a time for working in. Imagine that, jeans as workwear! They are tough, strong, comfortable. What more can you ask of a pair of jeans?

Can't say I'm impressed by anything else I've ever seen there though I have a friend who bought an emergency 3 piece suit, shirt & tie for €50.00 about a year ago that got him out of a hole.

Tesco great for summer holiday stuff-like beachy dresses, bikinis and beach bags!Nice price and quality.
Also there jeans are great. Got a pair for like 9E-dark wash, skinny flare, bit of a stretch-and after lots and lots of wears and washes-they are in perfect condition. And get many questions on where i bought my lovely jeans. Glad i bought two pairs.

But as said before sizes are abit mad. Defo think they quite large and would need smaller than ur usual size.

Have gotten some lovely stuff in there but can be very hit and miss.

Lovely green prom type dress, grey swing coat and shirts for work.

Their childrens clothes are fantastic! Can't help but buy something for my girls nearly everytime I am there!

Kid's shoes go up to a women's 6 in some styles so for summer last year I got a few canvas pairs and sandals for I think 38 euro in total :) Lasted me the whole summer and the canvas ones are still going strong, as durable as my Converse.

I usually get plain tshirts there, 90% of them wash brilliantly, other 10% have faded/shrunk, but for about 4 euro a tshirt for better quality than Dunnes or Pennys (and not seen around as much) I'll live. :)

I buy stuff when it's reduced to the total bargain stage. Once last summer I got a shirt, 3 t-shirts and a pair of jeans for €20 - everything has held up well. :)
