The World Game Cup tournament just kicked off in Cannes, and the first photos from the event are appearing online already. What makes this tournament special? Well how about we start with the fact that it runs March 3rd through March 7th. Thats five days of tournament action. To make things even more exciting, a number of high level Japanese players are in attendance in France, including Fuudo, Desora, Eita, and the legendary Daigo. And to top it all off, the Grand Winner of the Master Series event held there will be the WGC SF4 representative at the largest fighting game tournament of the year, Evolution! Thats right, the GNOUZ CORP is going to full pay a plane ticket to Las Vegas from any airport in the world to the winner of this event!

On top of having both singles and 2v2 Street Fighter 4 tournaments, WGC is also running tournaments for Guilty Gear Accent Core, King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match, Soul Calibur IV, 3rd Strike, Tekken 6, and BlazBlue. I'll keep my eye out for any interesting updates from this massive European tournament.

Haha farz has like a split personality when it comes to StreetFighter.

One has him playing the games for years and posting on various forums for the better part of a decade , going to tournaments and meet ups , buying arcade sticks, modding arcade sticks practicing his game etc.

While the other insists street fighters for losers and geeks only and that its anti social to be into the game and talk about it on the internet
