I'd definately agree whole heartedly with Roogles statement that the trip was ****ing awesome!

The solo tournament was groups of 7/8 with the top 2 progressing to a 64 man double elimination bracket.

On my own performance ,I think I played close to as well as I can in the main solo tournament and won my group with my only loss coming from a very good Guile player in a very tight match.

I won my first match of the winners bracket against a decent Abel player and I then lost to Yamazaki (Ryu) in the last 32 ,which I don't feel too bad about considering how highly rated he is.

I was put out by an average Gief player in the losers bracket who I probably should have beat considering the experience I have against Dreddy.

In the UK V Ireland 5v5 I lost to Dawgtanian 2 rounds to 1 and I had no idea what to do.Roogle deserves a special mention for his 5v5 performance which earned him not one but two biscuits of respect from Ryan Hart!

No more needs to be said, I loved watching him play and was hoping if any Japanese player was to win it would be him ,he very clearly loved the experience outside of Japan.
God, I wish yer man would just shut up.

He was incredibly irritating, before the final Daigo and Fuudo had to rock/paper/scissors for to see who had to sit next to him, there was no need for the commentary at all,the match was great and didn't need him shouting over it!

the first significant Irish presence at an international fighting game tournament.

Ireland had a representative in the World Cyber Games in 2006 for DOA4.

And so long as Battle of Destiny counts as international (pretty sure it had non-UK people there, right?) then Simon utterly beasted at Tekken 5 a couple of years ago.
