Bunny, does it have much effect on the .17HMR? cheers.

As with all mods on anything except subsonic ammo it take away a lot of the "boom" but you will still have the sonic "crack". Worth the money if you have permission for one and the SAK is not heavy so won't affect balance.

I have one on my 17hmr (SAK) it takes the sharpcrack from the shot enough I think as not to need ear defenders, it still produces a sharp crack,

Tried it on my magnum today, it was a lot quieter- but I doubt it's worth the extra 5 inches or so!

Cheers for the replies lads.. I guessed it wouldn't take the 'crack' out of the shot, but to be honest any noise reduction is welcomed. Also at about €50 a pop, ya can't really go wrong.
