Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you can't get motivated for a game against Ireland then you shouldn't be playing football imho.

There's something different about the crowd, the atmosphere is peculiar. It's like it's full of people who never really go to see football, and women.

We're giving them a decent game so far, unlucky from Andrews

A bit like a home game in Croker so.

Attendance looks very low at the emirates. Hopefully this kentaro crowd dont make money off this venture and major friendlies outside Ireland dont become a regular occurence

Ah bugger it! After playing so well for most of the first half, to go in 1-0 at HT is harsh!

What's the "Lace up, save lives" thing about? An epidemic of people tripping up?

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

You sure? Another poster said that the only reason it isn't in Croker is cos the GAA wouldn't deal with the Brazilian company.

The atmosphere is definitely children- and women-heavy, very high-pitched screaming when Kaka touches the ball.

Disappointing to be 1-0 down at HT, harsh.

typical ireland play well, keep the oposition at bay but then no conversation between backs and keeper, then goal..... ( but it was offside, so much for the luck of the green.............again......"henry:mad:")

Aren't the rights to all these game held by a company, think their name is along the lines of Kintaro!

Least anyone forget this game was set up to appease us after the handball affair. Panel seem happy to forget about the whole affair. Good display but this glass is full is a bit too much.

Hopefully McCarthy gets on but if he does I reckon it'll only be for about 10 mins,Trap loves his boys Whelan and Andrews too much.

my understanding that it was one of the reasons why we were handed fixture.

You need motivation to play against Duff, Keane and Given?

Shouldn't be playing football then imo.

Dont see what the fuss is about the 'crowd', its always the same for brasil friendlies. Lots of kids in on the cheap to bulk it up and the usual splattering of cute ladies.

u could be right, but ireland got an extra place in europe ( league of ireland standings) because of it
