I'm hoping to put together a team for the EA shield. Min of 8 players from one country. Max of 5 players from 1 league. Any ideas what a good nationality to go for? Ireland is out obviously, seeing as they all play in the Premiership! I was thinking Portugal, but with the likes of Nani (have), Leidson (have), Veloso(have), Miguel, Moutinho, Simao/Quaresma, Carvalho, Pepe. Cristiano Ronaldo is way too expensive. Anybody suggest any other good Portuguese players I've missed?

I took my Spanish team and brought in 3 premiership Spanish players. Got to final but god hammered by a French team.

I bought Donovan last night. Hes the perfect partner for Yak. One is exceptionally strong, the other is exceptionally fast!

I bought Boswinga, Moutinho, Quaresma, Quim, Caniera for my EA shield Portuguese side too. Gabriel Obertan is a must have for anyone starting out.

I was down in the slums for a good bit yesterday.
Sold Arshavin, bought fabregas for 34k then sold him for 44k.
Spent it all on packs and got absolutely nothing

GBut then I got real bargains yesterday .
Got Vidic for 5k :eek::eek::eek: Seen him with 59 mins left and I only had 4000, I forgot to add him to the watch list so I thought he would be gone so I went back discarded Campbell and Ramsey just to get enough coins went bakc about 2 mins later and he was still there :eek::eek:.
