Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pretty cool feature. You enter all predictions for all of the matches between now and the end of the season (As you can see from the way mine turned out below, there's a few games in hand that haven't been rescheduled yet).

    2hz7or5.jpg

I have Chelsea to fall away, City to probably take 4th with their games in hand and Sunderland to continue their slump.

try it for yourself - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/predictor/default.stm#top

your table doesent make good reading for Liverpool especially considering the games in hand for all the teams around them are yet to be factored in.

They still have to play Chelsea and United as well as a trip to Spurs. Tough runs ins for all concerned. A lot will change over the next few weeks but based on current performances is what I made my predictions

oh no, someones random effort at guessing results on the web doesn't make good reading for Liverpool. Sack the manager:rolleyes:

Nice find OP, you've been a bit generous with a lot of the results though. 67 points would have been been good enough to get 4th for the last 10 years in a row, so 4th, 5th anf 6th teams all beating it seems pretty unlikely.

Of course there'll always be shocks but I genuinely wouldn't be surprised to see Sunderland go down. Burnley look gone. Hull and Bolton are shocking too. I think it's between Sunderland, Bolton and Hull for 18th place, everyone else should be okay.

You have to upload it to photobucket or imageshack

Hit print screen on your keyboard, then go to paint and press paste. This is post an image of your whole screen, so you can cut the table out

Save and upload to something like Imageshack. :)

Shame there are no rescheduled games for the top 3 teams, would have been nice to get to sit on the fence like I did with the 4th place ;)

yeah its funny to see people giving all the four chasing fourth ie spurs, liverpool, villa and city upper 60s, low 70s :p not going to happen. the team that gets fourth will get it with 66 points max

just for reference last 10 games

liverpool have picked up 21 points
    city 20 points
    spurs 16 points
    villa 16 points

I had United winning the title by pipping Arsenal by two points which surprised me. Liverpool taking 4th and Pompey, Burnley and Hull relegated.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,353 ✭✭✭MR NINE

I have Utd winning the league. Liverpool in 4th place 5 points ahead of Villa and 6 ahead of City. However, City and Villa both have two other games. Out of curiosity anyone know who their against?

Villa's are Wigan and Hull I think. City's are Spurs and Everton I think also.

I had Chelsea by 1 point :( Arsenal 2 points off United, Liverpool comfortably 4th and Burnley, Wolves and Pompey down. Had Sunderland quite high too.

Chelsea by a point in mine

although i did have the united chelsea game a 1-1 draw

so if we win that then its still on!

City are favorites for 4th in mine, they are 2 points off 4th with 2 games in hand at the end

TITLE - Man Utd 84 pts, Chelsea 83, Arsenal 81

FOURTH - Liverpool and Villa both on 70 (Pool 4th on goal diff but Villa with games in hand), City and Spurs to fall away

RELEGATION - surges by Wigan and Bolton to finish well clear, Sunderland 33, Wolves 32 (all survive), Hull and Burnley down on 29, Pompey well back with 23

Utd champions, same 'Big Four' and Hull, Burnley and Portsmouth all to be relegated - just as I predicted on August 15!

Intesting PL finishing table for me, as an unbiased Everton fan anyway.....

    PLPredictorleaguefinal.gif
Bare in mind Man City and Villa can jump Liverpool into 4th with 2 wins with games in hand.

Bottom 3 all gone as have played 38 games

wow, i got an unexpected result to be honest.

i swear i didn't fix this at all.

    1st. Man Utd...86pts (+55)
    2nd. Arsenal...86pts (+51)
    3rd. Chelsea...86pts (+51)
    4th. Liverpool...72pts
    5th. Villa (played 36)...67pts
    6th. Spurs...66pts
    7th. Man City...64pts.

    17th. Bolton...34pts
    18th. Hull...31pts
    19th. Burnley...29pts
    20th. Pompey...20pts

    1) The City total is very surprising. I must have an underlying resentment for them that I didn't know I had, because there is no way they are finishing as low as 7th.

    2) I'd be happy with that as a title race, though not as an outcome.
