Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok well i don't really believe in a conspiracy but what are your opinions on the Ps3 failing (temporarily). Like with God Of War around the corner and Heavy Rain just released what do you think about this latest upset. Is it Y2K, has skynet become active? Is this the end for Ps3 Phattie Users. Thoughts and opinions ho!!

Ya but for the wrong reason, if you go back and read my other post on the other pages, it will happen again on 2014 if they don't fix it.

The error is because that it calculates leaps years on even number years and not every 4. Next real leap year is 2012 so its fine there. 2014 is not but the old PS3 will think it is and the problem 2 days ago will happen again without a fix.

The PS3s came out March '06 so they dodged the bullet there. '08 was a leap year so nothing to report. This year the sh1t hit the fan like it would have in '06 if the PS3s were released earlier. So we're OK for another 4 years, plenty of time for Sony to do a fix. Or Sony are hoping all the "phat" PS3s will be bricked/failed by then and everyone will have the slim models and they won't have to make a fix for the old ones.:pac:
