Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A very good read, something everyone with a Honda Civic running 17" wheels should read

Here's a couple more essential reads for car modders

    Unsprung Weight

    Lowering springs

the forum on lowering springs is a brilliant read. Ive learned so much about a system I had always perceived to increase handling.

the forum on lowering springs is a brilliant read. Ive learned so much about a system I had always perceived to increase handling.

With any luck it will dispell the following commonly held myths.

    • Huge wheels are deadly and make your car rapid
    • Lowering your car makes it an f1 car instantly
    • Coil-overs alone solve all your handling needs as harder is better(even though you may be bouncing off the road as stiffer is better)

Yeah, I liked the "lowering" one as well.
I've reads bits and pieces about the issues of lowering, but only now managed to find a good explanation...

Now not sure what to do with that set koni springs that live in my garden....If I sell them I would not sleep at night.
