Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Just thought i'd introduce you to my new blog (still being worked on) and I'd love to hear some suggestions as for improvements. I'm a total noob when it comes to some of the more techy things, but Im learning.

    It's nothing special, just the life of an amateur rock photographer.

    i like,theres a bit too much free space on the right, maybe make the 'blog' bigger and move out the links. also given this is gig stuff(im in process of making my own site with companion blog, so been pondering this at length), maybe black would compliment the images more? as opposed the white thats very contrasty and imo unnatural looking.

    Hi,
    1. Consider if you/audience want to make the image clickable and viewable larger.
    2. Crap names when I hover over images (fs1, m1 etc)- name them properly.
    3. Too much space on r.h.side.
    4. Horizontal navigation bar (home, about) is very bare. I presume you'll be adding to this?
    5. Seems to be two titles to the blog- 1 with DeadL.ie Photography 'it's only feckin'...' and one with the pink splats. Do you need both of them?
    6. A blogroll is a list of links to blogs that the blogger likes. You have wordpress.org and .com. Are these here just cos you're using wordpress. Blogroll should be links to other peoples sites/blogs you like i think. Shouldn't link to state.ie be here?
    7. (if you can customize, maybe have to change to .org to do it) have 'recent post' on r.h.side maybe. otherwise I have to scroll and scroll for previous posts
    8. Shouldn't about section say something more about type of gigs (rock,pop,alt etc) and more...include what camera you shoot with etc.

    btw- do you get paid by state magazine or is it for the 'love of it'?
