(I'm guessing Ponyo doesn't count since it was only released in cinemas in 2010 - I'll change the latter if I'm wrong!)

    Ponyo
    Fantastic Mr Fox
    Book Of Kells
    A Town Called Panic
    9
    Coraline

    That's gotta be the shortlist.

Of those, my fave two would be:

    UP
    Book of Kells

Normally, Miyazaki is on the top of any animated films list, but Ponyo is very only OK.

Of course I've seen it 20 times, but still it's way to crap, plot wise, to beat out the incredibly interesting and beautiful Book Of Kells.

    Coraline

I honestly just don't see what people liked about Up, personally I was bored to tears.

Edit: and Ponyo as a nomination?
not sure if it's eligable. (I want to vote for it though)

Avatar is a stretch, but I'll allow it. Ponyo came out in February, so its disqualified.
