I had a leak in the floorspace between bathroom upstairs and kitchen downstairs so the plumber had to cut a hole about 18 inches by 5 feet in the ceiling to access the pipework.
I have one quote from a plasterer to repair the ceiling. He hasn't seen the ceiling but reckons it will be e450 max.
The house is a 3 bed semi near Clonee, about 11 years old.
Was just wondering if that sounds like an ok figure.
Thanks in advance for any input.

    Bit high i reckon.

1 sheet of plasterboard approx 8 euros plus vat
    Few timber noggins for grounds
Bit of filler to tidy it up

No way should it be 450 - i reckon he's chancing his arm
I could replace your entire ceiling for that price!!
