Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm going to have to say 'meh' to this.

To start with converting an IR image to B+W isn't exactly rocket science.

From an image content perspective it isn't particularly interesting. The composition does now't for me and lone tree photos need a bit of atmosphere about them... and this hasn't got any.

I think the hedge in the background ruins it. It's interfering with the tree a bit too much :)

I quite like it... different strokes I guess!

I prefer the detail in the original - minus the posts. And if going that far into pp I'd drop in a decent sky as well.

Composition! This one is all about the rule of thirds.

Well... compositionally it's actually more about a lead in line that runs to a hedge row that is competing with a tree that sits in the foreground.

A bit all over the shop if you ask me.

    I like it.

The tree really pop’s from the background, as does the road in the foreground.
There is a real sense of distance, scale and environment.
