Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hasn't been much of anything in the pompy brum game. one good chance for Jerome, and a good save from James, but apart from that, nothing.

Goal line technology debate coming up again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

Goal not given to Birmingham I think that was over the line

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,437 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

very tough for the linesman and referee to call it. Goalline tech debate definitely incoming

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

Well done Pompey, and the non-goal didn't affect the result either, thought Birmingham were poor enough.

Has piqionne scored in every round so far?

I thought they said he had not scored at all in the FA Cup in commentary and now he bags two in the one game ?

Just saw the non-goal in the replays. Have to say, I think the ball isn't fully over the line. Remember it has to be 100% over, whereas I think a couple of cm is still over the line when it's shoved back out. Would like to see a HD pic of it.

    Gomes; Corluka, Bassong, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto;
    Kranjcar, Palacios, Modric, Bale;
    Crouch, Pavlyuchenko.

SUBS - Alnwick, Dervite, Livermore, Rose, Townsend, Gudjohnsen, Defoe.

Fulham - Spurs has been dreadful so far.

Spurs have very few options on the bench, but I wouldn't mind seeing Andros Townsend on towards the end to run at the Fulham back 4.

Jaysus, Hodgson can fairly move for a 62 year old

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

Duff doing a lot of tracking back to cover Bale stifling him a bit

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,213 ✭✭✭✭therecklessone

Even game overall but Fulham having a good spell.

Make a f*cking change 'Arry, the front two isn't working and we need somebody running at their back 4 as well...Defoe and one of Townsend/Rose for Crouch and Modric please, push Niko into the middle.

What was Ethu throwing Handbags at crouch for?

Happy enough to go back to the Lane and win at home! Fulham have a lot of fixture congestion.

Reading doing very well so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,924 ✭✭✭shoutman

Game is too even so far, from a Villa fans point of view. Very open game, some Villa players making silly mistakes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

Reading certainly don't look to intemidated anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,924 ✭✭✭shoutman

    Balls

Steven Warnock caught ball watching... (might be harsh)

Villa got to get the finger out.

    Edit: was Carew offside there?

Certainly not, 1-0 up, Shane Long

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    deserved.

Reading have outworked Villa, and just plain seem to want it more.

very slack defending by their standards.

    Jay Tabb for Ireland

MON is going to employ some hairdryer treatment at half time i'd imagine. Great goal by reading.
Delph and Delfonso on at half time imo.

no disrespect to a wonderful Reading performance, but Villa are as sh*te as they can be today.

Brian McDermott is doing a good job for Reading. Never liked Brendan Rogers. ****e with Watford, and ****e with Reading.
