Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have to say that I hoped he would. Have always had a soft spot for him since he was with us.

Are you saying Chelsea will win the league??? Go on, say it.

Chelsea to win the league, and to beat United in the CL final on penalties.

    Liverpool for fourth.

    Kilkenny for the All Ireland.

I will never win the lottery.

    Think that covers everything nicely.:)

    Everybody bookmark.

    oh so do i.

i've defended him many times in the Liverpool thread.

it doesn't mean i'm in any way confident of him scoring in that position.

Watch on ITV man. One of the few commentators that won't wreck your head.

Lovely penalty, well done with the hat trick Carew!

This has been such a good match shame for reading and the goal margin doesn't do them justice

How O'Neill ever starts Heskey ahead of him I'll never know.

Game over. Hope Villa win the cup over Chelsea.

Cos Carew's a lazy bollix, basically. Compare his performance over the 2 halves...

Meanwhile, what a game, what a comeback. Magnificent stuff in the 2nd half.

And compare his goal tally at the end of those two halves to that of Heskey.

With players like Young and Agbonlahor doing the donkey work Villa can afford to have someone a bit lazy in the team, especially when he knows where the net is.

    '2-0 is a dangerous lead'

    ****ing hate that quote.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,535 ✭✭✭Raekwon

    DELIGHTED!!!!! :D

That was one hell of a 10 minute spell for Villa at the start of the second half.........MON is one hell of a motivator!

Btw John Carew is the Chuck Norris of penalty takers..........he is going to kill a keeper with one of those someday! :p

The commentary is shocking on UTV , "the way Terry lunged in"

His supporting leg slipped from underneath him !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

Whelan off, Pugh on. Looks like hamstring injury.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,831 ✭✭✭✭Panthro

A big second half performance from Chelsea would do nicely.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,831 ✭✭✭✭Panthro

good first half, everyone is getting stuck in,
think theres another goal in this for us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,831 ✭✭✭✭Panthro

this game should be decided based on who throws the longest, Rory D or Ivan, we started fairly good again, Stoke are still threatening though

could be Sturridge time soon me thinks, or maybe Joe will make an entrance

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 7,146 Mod ✭✭✭✭pistolpetes11

Cracking stuff , it was coming for a while after a few good moves ,

Good man John Terry set up the first and got the second ,

I know the ball came off Wilkinson on the way in but he has been having a great game so far , looks a really decent player.
