Self Employed help please

Hi hope someone can help me with this. Last year my husband was taking up a self employed sales position and registered for tax. He got a job a few weeks after and never actually became self employed. He received a form today for tax return. How do we cancel/remove him from being self employed and these scary forms? Thanks
