cattle Belly bands / weight tape HELP

    any one have one/use one

    had the hfs to go to the bull in the crush today eyeballing their weight/condition for bulling in a month and a half, anyways, dug out an old belly band, as i wouldn't have a good eye for weight.

    there was all mildew on the end with writing, after a lot of looking found start line for "cattle live weight in lbs", got a reading of say 1775
    the problem is i cant equate this back to anything
    the hfs are around the 300kg mark
    eg 1775/2.2(lb in a kilo)=806kg which isn't right
    im missing something, somewhere along the line:o
