I see there's finally real plans to improve the lanes behind Georges Street. http://www.dlrcoco.ie/planning/Part8/PC0110.htm It might sound far fetched and a total pipe dream...and it's not the best time economically but it would be great see parking banned from these lanes developed with little small niche shops along…

It might sound far fetched and a total pipe dream...and it's not the best time economically but it would be great see parking banned from these lanes developed with little small niche shops along them, there's already been a couple of ventures...there was a skate shop a while back and I think Hicks have some sort of factory outlet shop there as well. Pity it all sounds a bit too European for Ireland! :rolleyes:
One thing I do hope is that they keep the cobbles.....thought unfortunately I doubt it!
