Good late bar in Lucan

    Hi,

    Moved to Lucan 9 months ago and haven't been in Lucan yet!! Going out in Lucan tomorrow though and I need some ideas of where to go...... Were 25 and would like somewhere that plays music and had a late bar. Were nice people so dont want to be surrounded by rough people......!!!!!

    Looking forward to hearing from you with suggestions:eek:!!

    Both Kennys and Courtneys in the village have a mixed crowd and will serve late. The Penny Hill does too,usually there's a band on upstairs on a saturday night(sometimes a cover charge). The Arc at the liffey valley roundabout beside the Clarion Hotel serves late too,usually until about 02.00!

    The only pub i'd say to avoid is The Lord Lucan(:pac:),crowd is a bit ropey to say the least.

    Kenny's don't have a late bar, Courtneys is the only place in the village that does, I'm a big O'Neills fan, They've brought back the quiz on sunday nights so its got a good crowd in there Dj etc, and a band in the bar,

    me and 2 friends have literally just moved to lucan last week and have been out in kennys only so far. Nice bar and good crowd. We will probably check out ONeills based on what ur saying thanks!

    Must check out the quiz in ONeills on sunday aswell!! :)
