Hey lads i'm from Galway and am looking for a team to play with during the week so that i'm fit enough to play with my local team when i head home at the weeknds!! So just wondering if there's any chance i could come along for a game?

Yep, you're welcome to come along. You'd have to be willing to commit for the vast majority of the 18 games and pay 120 euro up front though so keep that in mind. But we're very interested in new players and we're a sound bunch of lads so don't be nervous about coming down on Monday. What position do you play?

I play centre mid, but i don't mind playing out on the wings or right or left back. i've no problem commiting to the games but the 120 up front might be a bit of an issue because i'm a student and have to pay rent and course fees and stuff but i could have it paid off in 2 or 3 weeks if that is any good?

Hey, I'm the manager.

Come to the match, I've no issues with fellas paying in reasonable installments (ie, not a fiver a week, but if you can manage 4x30 or 3x40 that's cool).

The reason we want the money up front is so people don't piss off after three or four games, and also, the league fees to enter a team are payable up front, which is 1800 quid.

You're very welcome to come on Monday, please PM me if you are coming.

whats the story des? will you start to let all the lads know, maybe even update the thread on the main forum and get some new lads down?

rocco should have a team anyway, squad of 16 and so far 9 lads have replied, and 8 are in, id expect another 4 or 5 lads to be in also. we use an online automated system called teamer.net and its actually very good for arranging matches.

ya good run out, 3-2. we controlled the game for a while but then ye got back on top in last 15 once it went to 3-1. thought it was going to be 3-3 with chances for keith and jules in the last 2 minutes, but we held out. just about the right result, mistakes at both ends for some goals, ye made more of them and were punished. thats what friendlies are for.

will we have another one say in 2 weeks?
