Hi have tried the SEI website and BER but couldn't find a figure. I did see one figure of 622 but I believe there is more than that?

Its for my dissertation, thanks for your help!

    Se here for link:

    http://www.sei.ie/Your_Building/BER/BER_FAQ/FAQ_BER/Assessors/January_Status_Report.pdf

There are 1986 registered assessors as of January 2010.
There are over 6000 certified assessors.

Thanks a million, that pdf is very helpful, there is some other stuff I can use from it too.

What is the difference between registered and certified?
Can unregistered assessors submit ber reports?
Also are the figures for ber's submitted for January alone?

    Thanks

Certified would be all assessors who participated in and completed the training course including exams. Those who then proceeded to register with the SEI are classed as "registered"

Upon successful completion of the training course, an assessor was certified.

In order to register, the assessor then had to pay €1000 plus VAT for the SEI License, with a €100 + VAT annual renewal fee.

Only registered assessors may upload ratings to the SEI database.
