So what do we think of this ? Dealer only car site, all cars with warranty and history check ? Are they reckoning folk will part with their cash with greater piece of mind as it is a SIMI site ? Are the dodgey SIMI dealers allowed to use it :D

Any one currently looking for a car feel more comfortable finding one here than on Carzone for example ?

When Ryan T first mentioned the site last night I tried to have a look at it but couldn't, some error with it.

First car I searched for looked like a clocked car:
03 passat tdi with 43k on the clock - and 3 owners, oh and the timing belt was done too. sniff sniff.
To be honest, people won't give a fidddlers what site they find the right car on.
If I was looking for a car, all web sites would be searched and considered. The whole SIMI thing is a joke to me - in fact it would nearly put me off if anything.
The search feature is ok to use, even if it takes two steps to get a defined search.

SIMI mean nothing to me - in any case I prefer to buy privately where possible. It cuts out the dealer's profit and I get to vet the previous owner.
