Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I tend to go with Cesc Fibreglass - but it doesn't really make sense, sounds better though.

That a hamstring problem for Fabregas?

That could be big trouble for Arsenal if its a tear.

Lou Macari is a miserable fecker. Can someone give the man some Prozac or something!

No idea, scored the goal after he picked up the knock so, hopefully it's just precautionary or not too serious!

Match isn't great so far goal apart Burnley's Defense is all at sea

Burley are getting frustrated. A few late tackles starting to go in, Walcott would have been absolutely creeled there by Fox if hadn't jumped in time.

As for the goal, I never understand why Arsenal don't play the ball over the top a bit more. Nasri, Rosicky and Cesc are really capable of picking out a runner that way, but they also seem to prefer to play through the bodies instead. It's something they are devastatingly good at on the rare occasions when they do it though.

I honestly thought that was a fair tackle he got to theball before walcott and got the ball

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,372 ✭✭✭✭Mr Alan

that tackle was perfectly fine, arsenal just feeling all precious and don't like anyone tackling them.

    from bbc
BBC 5 live reveal that Cesc Fabregas has tweaked a hamstring and his substitution was precautionary. The second half at Arsenal is under way.

    Bendtner's missed his hat-trick now.

Can't help but thinking that if RvP was on the pitch he'd have slotted all three.

What a soft goal - piece of piss for Nugent.

Bendtner was the one who lost the ball initially

Odds on Fabregas coming back on

In comparison to the standard of his team-mates, Bendtner has to be the worst striker, nay, player, in the PL.

    Arsenal very ordinary without Fabregas

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,727 ✭✭✭✭Sherifu

    Bendtner back to his best....

    Seriously missing RVP now.

Great finish. Complete lack of communication in the Arsenal defence though, the line was a mess and neither of Silvestre and Verm seemed to know who was marking him.

    Chris eagles playing well

He shouldn't be allowed near a football pitch.

What are you on about? His finishing has been bad today but, he's done well and has scored in his last 3 games for club and country!

good goal scoring record my hole! Bentdner is utter piss at finishing. Arsenal play with such a casual attitude without Cesc

3 games? His recourse is the last 3 games?? He's been woefully out of his depth for about 3 seasons.

    Diaby is class.

Get out of it! 15 goals last season playing out of position on the right of the pitch. How many did your beloved and worshipped Gabi get?

Arsenal will still win handy, Burnley's defence is pure gash.

Though Walcott is so out of place at Arsenal its not even funny. Brainless.

I honestly thought that was a fair tackle he got to theball before walcott and got the ball

I dunno, I think those challenges are a bit of a grey area. He only gets the ball because Walcott sees him coming in and jumps out of the way. If Walcotts stands strong and tries to get a foot to the ball, Fox goes straight through him and risks catching a standing foot. So yes, on this occasion he makes no contact with the player but on another day he could easily leave Walcott in a crumped heap on the grass. I just think if you're going to jump in to win a ball like that you don't go through the player.

Anyway... Walcott and Bendtner having another one of the almost perfect yet at the same time absolutely atrocious games. Fantastic movement and creating loads of chances for it, but Christ they always do the wrong thing in the box.

I have only got 5 Live commentary today and it does sound like Bendtner is having a cracker.

    Walcott YEAH. 2-1
