Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Arsenal will still win handy, Burnley's defence is pure gash.

Though Walcott is so out of place at Arsenal its not even funny. Brainless.

    LOL at the Flah.:pac:

leninbenjamin, there is no grey area, those tackles are totally fine.

I think the issue with Bendtner is that he isn't clinical enough to be starting striker for a team that are challenging for the title.

Walcott - good goal been livelier in the second half.

Will be interesting to see what happens from here - will Arsenal push on or will Burnley fight back?

Anyone got a non-Sopcast link? Completely screwing my connection, can't even browse. From the sounds of it Bendtner keeping going. Well taken goal by Walcott though ya really have to question the defending.

He'll probably score eventually, but Jesus Ive never seen a striker miss so many chances.

Get out of it! 15 goals last season playing out of position on the right of the pitch. How many did your beloved and worshipped Gabi get?

So with regard to my suggestion that he is probably the weakest player in the league relative to the standard of his team-mates, and that he is woefully out of his depth at Arsenal, you respond: he's better than Gabriel Agbonlahor.

Before I respond to this can I just confirm that you can actually read?

Fair play to the arsenal crowd for helping him.

    I have. Adebayor last season.

Wenger must have gone to the "Interact with player" screen on Bendtners profile, selected Adebayor as his linked player, and click "Tell Bendtner you see Adebayor as his ideal role model".

    [/shameless FM joke]

What kind of Barometer is that to measure a player on???

You said 3 goals in his last 3 games didn't matter a fuck, I merely indicated that he scored more than Agbonlahor last season who, I'm sure you regard very highly.

Bendtner scored as many goals as Liverpools beloved Kuyt last year, playing the exact same role.

    ****ing awful finishing today though

It's not just the number of chances he missed that annoys me, it's the quality of them.
In some matches it's obvious the other players don't want to pass to him at times.

I don't think so. As I said, the way I see it if Walcott doesn't jump out of the way it's a foul because he goes through the man. I don't see any logic why Walcott jumping out of the way in time suddenly makes that an acceptable challenge. If Walcott was wrong footed, or blind sided contact is inevitable and the risk of injury considerable considering the momentum Fox was coming in at.

Call it an irrational pet peeve or whatever you want, but I just don't like those challenges.

It's not so much a critique of the player, but a critique of those who have him in the squad.

3 games is not enough to measure a player's quality and even if it did it still doesn't address my point that he is not good enough to play for Arsenal. I also don't regard Gabby as being all that great. Incredibly frustrating player in fact.

Now is hardly the time/place for this anyway.

The inability of Arsenal to kill off this really has me ****ting myself. We must have one of the lowest collective strike conversion ratio's of any league team in history.

    Fair enough.

I think Bendtner has great potential but, isn't good enough to be our first choice striker at the moment. I do however feel he's a good squad player right now.

If you're comparing him to other players in the squad, there are a few that that don't deserve to be there at all, while I feel that he does.

Anyway, whatever! Bad miss from Arshavin there and absolutely no pace from Eduardo at all!
