    Hi,
Has anyone completed or in the middle of doing the quant fianance course in Smurfit. I have an offer of a place for next year. Looking for feedback from a student, from general to daily tasks/hours/lectures etc.. I know there are relatively low numbers for this course so any advice or past experience would be great.

    Cheers

Wouldn't mind hearing a bit about this as well.....it's one of the courses I've applied to.

OP did it take you long to hear back from UCD about the offer? I only finished my application at the weekend so I don't expect an immediate reply off them.

Just an FYI that the new concentration in Risk within the MSc Finance in TCD is being run in conjunction with the Center for High Performance Computing/School of Math, and involves courses in stochastic processes, C++ for finance, risk measurement, and mathematical processes for derivatives. Its not a pure Quantfin Msc but has significant quant therein. Its also the only PRMIA partner in Ireland.
    FYI as I say.
