Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I just got my hands on a 250 gb elite pack console.

Problem is I have the older transfer kit which only did 20 to 120 gb transfer. It doesnt do 120 to 250gb. It keeps asking me to attach the second drive.

They fixed that when the 60gb standard came out, the newer software does recognise it.

    see here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937279?sd=xbox

Anyone have, or know how I can get my hands on the newer transfer kit?

I don't think it exists yet. Thats why you can't get a 250Gb HDD on its own. But MS are supposed to be releasing the 250Gb HDD as an addon at the end of this month or around then so I'd expect it to be released then.

Only other option is to ask xbox support.

As it it you can transfer everything over through Xbox Live, your gamercard and achievements can be downloaded and all your DLC. But you will need a memory card to transfer game saves.

I got a transfer cable of ms there a few months ago when i got my modern warfare 2 console.

I transfered everything from the 120gb to the 250gb without problems.

The transfer kit i got from TouchingVirus worked on a 250gb drive for me. (from a 20gb but don't think that matters)
