Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not sure if I'm posting in the correct place? Please advise if not.
Some training videos I had on an external drive are in the format displayed in bmp attached. Can I convert them to a file format that will play with VLC, or is there a player available for the files as they stand.

Its a DVD. It should play fine with VLC. Try to play the VTS_01_01 file with VLC.

Alternatively, go back up one level in your windows explorer (to the folder that they're in) and right click the folder. If you've got VLC installed it should give you a 'Play with VLC' context menu.

I have VLC player but "open with" options for that file only include powerDVD and Nero showtime essentials. It plays in Nero, but I don't have that on my laptop where I'll use the file. PowerDVD only plays audio for the file.

Does'nt give the "open with" option at that point, only when folder is opened to reveal files.

    Thanks for your help

Have you tried just starting up VLC and opening it manually?

    Media > Open Folder

No need for open with option.

Run VLC player, open windows explorer and keep it on the side, click on any of the VOB files and just drag it and drop it on the VLC player.

You can also open the file from VLC player menu but drag and drop will just work fine.
