Would you reverse any governmental or local authority decisions?

    Mine

I'd get whichever fool (read Tool) is responsible for the new road markings and lane positions from D'Olier St through to Dame St, cut his balls off and then make him put it back the way it was.

Lane coming from O'Connell St can't follow a natural path as if drivers do they will go around in circles (to Westmoreland St) and so two lanes have to try and merge with a Bus lane full of cars that shouldn't be there,

When you do manage to get into said lane, suddenly a new ten foot lane on the right appears that is an accident waiting to happen as Taxis will shoot up that way to create access to the lane by overtaking and ignoring the new road markings.

Ultimately you're thrown to non-existent lanes and insides lanes can't merge without causing chaos.

Then when you do get to Dame St the two lanes are lined up to go into the inside lane so you have to turn across to a new lane while the inside lane is now in the fcuking Bus Lane.

    ****!!

So, if you could reverse a governmental decision, what would it be and why?

giving the government power to make decisions for the rest of us (the spire, the E-Voting, the scrapage scheme)

I'd reverse whatever decision leads to people mixing up Government and Local Authorities

In fairness, putting a bank on a boat to begin with was just asking for trouble

Cut his balls off? A little harsh just for some road markings don't you think?

I would have Mary Harney reverse the HPV vaccine.

The building of that pox of a motorway through the Tara-Skyrne valley. Building a phucing motorway through that landscape was a desecration of a one off location. Then the scum in the dail wonder why our tourists numbers are down over previous years. Listen up, scum. If you build motorways through beautiful landscapes and tourist attractions, tourists tend to not come back.

    It's not "ONE road marking".

It's about a dozen that covers three roads and intersections in the heart of the capital.

It's a fcuking mess and it's not just there.

New lanes, grids, speed bumps, crazy speed limits, oddly placed bus lanes etc etc.

It's been going on for a good few years now and it's making driving safely almost an impossibility these days.

Whoever makes these decisions needs more than their balls chopping off, they are a fcuking road hazzard themselves.

I believe that's a Local Authority decision

Who pays Local Authority and mandates them to do their job anyway?

Title changed anyone to suit the pedantic folk.

To put arrows on the ground at roundabouts instead of those triangle symbols. 50% of people need to be told over and over how to use roundabouts

    Yes.

Those other little roundabouts are also a nightmare though.

The small ones that you you can't go round as no car in world has that turning axis.

Speeding bumps also, the ones that almost shatter your shocks when you are even down to 3 kmph.

    Parking Ticket Meters.

They should have placed them so that they faced sideways, now whenever someone uses them on a narrow footpath, they have to inconvenience people trying to walk.

    The list is endless!!

    Benchmarking.

Lowering taxes to the extent they did in the 00s.

Raising welfare rates to the rate they did in the 00s.

    Abolition of uni fees.

    Unvouched expenses.

    Blasphemy law.

Those crappy candles we all got in 2000, and the trees that were planted for every family. Would fire works and a bit of a party have been too much to ask?!

One that might allow at times the EU to dictate to us what to do - not like they are a European power or anything that has a right to govern us as we are supposed to be independent state, totally free to do what suits our own people!
