Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

Hope this is the right place for my post :)

I've been toying for some time to consolidate (and upgrade) my home AV system. I am a bit of a NOOB when it comes to this so I am hoping someone could give me some advice.

I am thinking of buying this Sony amp and then later on attach the BOSE Acoustimass 10 speakers. Is this a good idea/Can this be done?

I would like to stick with the BOSE's so if you can recommend a good AV amp for my setup that would be great. I need a number of HDMI inputs and if I can assign (program) the inputs on the AV for all my consoles/PC/CD/DVD that would be a plus.

    Thanks for any advice.

The STR-DH800 a good all round amp , reasonably high power out put @ 85W average which is more than comfortable in driving the AM10.
Just be aware allot of manufactures seem to be steering towards a "Plug and Play" attitude to amps.
Read through the amp's manual before you buy it or anything else , checking if the Inputs are "assignable".
