Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    As part of a project, i'm looking for old family photos of clara lara, ya know, the water park that was in wicklow? anyone willing to lend their childhood memories to me?

    Will ask the missus, I know she used to go there when she was a kid, and I'm sure my younger sisters did too. I was more a tramore and Courtown baby.

    Anything at all or specific spots, my mam used to bring my brother there so she may have some shots, wouldnt be great quality though.

    Still is actually! New management though :-/

    Whats the project about, just out of curiosity? I'll ask my mum used to go there a bit, not far from home!

    i'm heading up there doing a series of images, hoping to take old photos of it nice and busy, kinda contrast it with the bleakness of the place now.

    Our school used to take us this year.

    I've a picture of a mate of mine having fallen in, in his 'going home clothes' and we're all laughing. Will keep you posted!

    Sorry, must remind the missus again, she said her Dad definitely has some old pics from Clara Lara around somewhere. I have no scanner though, so basically I'd be taking a photo of the photo. I'll get her to ask him to locate them.
