Can anyone give me directions to the old quarry on Forth Mountain? A map would be even better!

    Thanks

Obviously, it depends on where you start from :)

Easiest way is if you are heading out of town for New Ross, Straight through the roundabout where the Maldon Hotel is. After approx 500 yards, take the 1st exit left (there is a brick pump house at the junction. Head up the hill for a full mile, past Moloneys Pottery. At the T junction, go left and then immediately right. After 100 yards, you will see a slip road to the right. This is Matts Lane. Go up there for a bit and you will find the quarry

GO SLOW - Matt's Lane must be in some state at the moment :)
