Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Family? Sh*te... nothing you can do if they won't listen to you, just look after yourself and be there if it all falls apart.

When it all falls apart this person will probably be brainwashed .......
She has changed dramatically since she met him over 2 years ago

People change dramatically in two years anyway, especially around our age, I recognise the huge difference in my own character since meeting the OH - but very little of it is down to her.

if one was to take a bolt cutter to the padlock that some unknown genius locked the gate at the back of my someone's estate (that leads to the shop and the bus stop, albeit through 2 small fields) would that be very illegal or just mildly illegal? Do you think the unknown genius would get the picture and stop doing it? What do you think the repercussions might be, considering that the owner of the bolt cutter would obviously wait until dark and has also checked for CCTV?
it may be a right of way and easier to access but i wouldn't do it. is it on private property or council property? maybe there has been antisocial behaviour and this is a concerted effort to combat it? make sure you know all the facts before you tamper.
i know many estates that this has happened. albeit a wall has been put up and not a padlock. it may be a temporary solution.

Oh . Was it your decision to quit or was it for health reasons ?

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Technology & Internet Moderators Posts: 19,241 Mod ✭✭✭✭L.Jenkins

It wasn't a health decision, but it was becoming a problem :(

Good thing that you recognised that it was becoming a problem, it takes a very strong person to know when to quit at times.

    *hugs*
