Does anyone know what this picture is?

I know that I know it from some where and am 99% sure its music related but I cant quite put my finger on it.

Flash 86 is half right. It is a picture based on the Great Wave off Kanngawa but I'm told it is in fact kozydan Uprisings

If you compare them you can see the image in Dceire's pic and Kozdan's take on it look identical.

Thanks Flash & Profiler, that's undoubtedly it but I'm sure that exact picture with the green background has been used in a far more contemporary context.

I did note that wiki says there that it's "one of the most reproduced artworks in the world"

Maybe that's where I know it from, my sister is into her anime and I probably came across a picture of it mixed in whit her CD's, hence the mistaken music link.

John Mayer used something like it as an album cover for one of his live CDs, but with rabbits.

Knowing Graham Linehan's love of them it could possibly have been used by Guided by Voices at some point.
