Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    TRUE OR FALSE?

    TRUE
These rainbow roses were developed by a Dutch flower supplier Peter van der Werken who produced them by injecting natural pigments into the stems while they were growing. The dyes are produced from natural plant extracts and are absorbed by the flowers as they grow.

I reckon that pic is a photoshop job. ( hence maybe why its in here)

i am not a botanist and have no idea how flowers grow. but common sense would tell me that if you injected a colour into the stem all the petals would be that colour. and worse case the petals would be a muddle of all the colours or the petals would have horizontal stripes of coulor

so i say false and the picture has been edited

Snopes say the photo is not doctored but the roses are, pretty much. As they are basically dyed while growing, natural dyes or not, there is no such flower that grows on it's own.

    Lol Martron.

I've seen these before, can't stand them, I love fresh flowers and can't imagine in my wildest dream why someone would purposely ruin their perfection!
