Hey, would anyone know or have links to companies that take on apprenticeship type starters for design/development roles in Ireland or UK? Ive heard these companies take in non experienced college grads and have them train/work for 3 or 4 months unpaid, then put them in paid positions in other companies. It seems like a good way to get the foot in the door of what is honestly, a very hard cookie of an industry to crack! (Im in IT support for 2 years, with college programming skills, unhirable in most respects due to experience). Any info is greatly appreciated. And to mods, if this is in the wrong forum, apoligises and move or delete at will!

A lot of companies who would be looking to hire college grads will get in touch with the careers office in the various colleges, so keep in touch with yours.
