Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is a disgrace. Just when I thought things were beginning to look good. If we don't come back I really doubt we will get that 4th place, simple as that. This race is tight enough without dropping points against Wigan.

Id definitely like to see Agger replace Insua, getting fairly sick of the sight of Insua at this stage been very poor all season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,629 ✭✭✭magma69

Horrible stuff. Once again Gerrard has been pathetic. Why the hell isn't Agger on the pitch. He is our best defender ffs. I still think we can turn it around though. We can only improve after that ****e. I don't think we will lose this.

And there's Aquilani sat on the bench being told he's not ready to get involved as its too risky at this stage of the season. He's probably sitting there thinking "why the fnck did i even bother coming here?"

It has to be an indictment of Rafa as to how technically inept and slow a lot of our players are. I know the pitch is slow, but they look like theyre running in quicksand for fecks sake.:(

still reckon we will win it. reckon bramble has another dodgy tackle in him.. to get himself sent off and leave them exposed..

Have to say at least it resembles a pitch before it was relaid it was like a swamp I fancy Liverpool to get something out of this game still

Its a shame when we have to rely on Titus "The Shambles" Bramble to get another yellow before we can expose Wigan who havent won at home in 3 months :(

Great move by Wigan. The cross by McCarthy, brilliant.

Wigan are just toying with Liverpool so far in 2nd half. This is just not on. Rafa make the 2 changes that are obvious to most of us.
Agger for Insua and Johnson for Lucas please

So does most of the team to be fair. Shocking stuff from Liverpool

Hopefully now GlenJo can provide the attacking flair we are so clearly lacking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,681 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

I'd be surprised if he's able to dress himself in the mornings without assistance.

Hard to believe this is the same team (Wigan) that spurs put 9 past.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

Moreno off, Moses on. Let's see what he's made off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,074 ✭✭✭MoyVilla9

You know things are bad when Torres hits a shot out for a throw in

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,681 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

id put money on the greek to score

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

No idea, Kuyt has had a shocker, and Gerard just isn't doing it anymore. Is he outta there in the summer or something?? Plays like he doesn't really give a sh!t anymore, as if he has something lined up to get away from the mess that is Liverpool.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

Another great move, should've been 2-0.

Games like this make you think we need a full scale clearout.

coz they can play crap for 80 mins then score?:D

I know the way we do zonal marking requires every player back, but we're chasing the game. Why not leave Nando up top?

    EDIT: close from Fernando

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,516 ✭✭✭Hoki

think Torres was watching Bendnter too closely at the weekend

These players would play much differently under the right manager
