What is this course like?/ Whats the chances of being accepted into it?? Is this a good job?? Will they be doing this again next year?? Do I need to have an interest in engeenerin for it

I applied for one of the apprenticeships and got an email from the HR department saying that they have knowledged my application. I have no date for the Aptitude test either.
