    Hi everyone,

    Casting call for a Kilkenny Arts Council funded short film:

    we are looking for actors for our short film due to be shot in Kilkenny this April, 10th-11th and 17th-18th. The casting will take place in the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel on Saturday 13th March.

    Cast required:

    Toni – girl (12-14)
    Rozonda – girl (12-14)
    Dad – (30-40)
    Arthur’s Friend – woman (50+)
    Jannet – girl (12-14)

    Holidays Synopsis
    Set during the summer in Kilkenny, Holidays is a dark, comic drama about a 12 year old girl named Toni who breaks into a house and confides in a dead man who has recently hung himself there. Toni is disturbed following her mother’s death a few months previously and she is unable to communicate with her affected Dad or twin sister Rozonda. Her Dad escapes reality by masquerading as an American rapper while Rozonda is a capricious character with whimsical traits. Throughout the holidays, Toni attempts to understand all that has happened and comes to her own conclusions by the time she goes back to school.
