    Took my mother to the Cliff House Hotel last year, smashing day. We ate in the Bar which serves more traditional fare, rather than the michelin star stuff in the restaurant, but really was top notch.

    Only 40mins drive from the City.If its a nice day, can go for a walk on the beach or around the cliffs.
