Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Went for the Internet Radio in the end.

Got great reviews, plenty of awards and an RRP of £150.

    Father wanted one anyways.

I have a different make internet radio and it is the business. If it has good reviews and awards then you (or your Dad) won't regret it. It's great to be able to listen to BBC radio stations in crystal clear reception around the house.

I have that Cowon MP3 player and it is absolutely superb. Plays every video format including mkv without the need for conversion and the AMOLED screen is stunning. In fact it looks better than my tv... the colours are just way more vivid. And Cowon supposedly make the best sounding mp3 players but I am no audiophile.

At the risk of hijacking the thread, do you have a URL for those BBC streams (radio 5 live, six music etc), google just keeps giving me the bbc iplayer but I need the URL for my n900.

Actually my Pure internet radio just finds the streams automatically. It searches for a list of radio stations and you pick your favourites to store so there is no need to enter a URL. Sorry about that,

But I've tried playing BBC radio stations through my 5800 phone and found the same thing as you. But the Skyfire browser for mobiles will play it though the Iplayer on my phone so that might be some help to you. You can download Skyfire here:

Yeah it will definitely play them no hassle and you can get a tv out cable.

Check out some reviews and you will see what I mean about it being a fantastic mp3 player:

I got the same screen when trying to buy the mediaplayer, even though I was already logged in.

Annoying as I'm only waiting up for a mediaplayer.

    I'm stuck on maglite screen?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,036 ✭✭✭✭Basq

the alarm clock was one, searched for it on ebay, £100 +
The €72 Internet Radio was £149 everywhere else I searched, and the €100 Harmony they had was up on £200 elsewhere.

There's bargains to be had.. they just might not suit everyone.. but some of the prices are great!
Annoying as I'm only waiting up for a mediaplayer.
Did you miss the €72 HD Media Player earlier?

I'm using Check4Change too and the offers are working fine for me. But I can't log in so I'm not sure there is much point staying up.
