I can't remember but can anyone remind me if the kong/kharma promos have appeared just Raw or both brands shows?

What happened to Sky One showing Smackdown on Saturday afternoons? I read a while back that it was meant to be permanent, but I turned on the telly the weekend before last to find a repeat of Modern Family. Has it gone again? Was it only a one-time dealy-o?

I googled and found another discussion topic on the digital spy forums. It yielded the following post...

Yeah, one day only. The only reason SD was shown on Sky1 was all four Sky Sports channels showed live sport all day last Saturday (it doesn’t happen often), so without a vacant timeslot, the schedulers moved the show to Sky1.

I googled and got a thread from seven years back, cheers for that. Actually, on another note, is Blake Norton still in the wrasslin' game?
I checked his website but it only seems to be updated intermittently.

Why would Eircom advertise on a global website such as wwe.com, wouldn't they be better advertising on popular Irish websites instead?

That ad is based on your location. If you were in another country you wouldn't see that ad. America sees an ad for movie "thats what I am". I don't know how internet ads work but I imagine Eircom buy space on global sites that get enough hits from Irish internet users to make it worthwhile.

This also happens on online games too.
One day i was wizzing through on skate 3, minding my own business and then seen a big billboard advertising eircom broadband.

Is there anybody that had beaten the Undertaker, but the Undertaker hasn't beaten them in return?

Was wondering this last night watching the Deadliest Matches boxset.

When this question was asked before, i think the only positive answer was Lex Luger, who beat Undertaker in an NWA title match in WCW, but Undertaker never beat Luger in his career.

So Eircom buy the advert-space from WWE, but WWE only show the ad to Irish internet users? That makes sense. But how do WWE know which country I live in, in order to know which advert to display? The only way I could think of is if Eircom track and trace my IP address and that of other Irish internet users and provide them to WWE, in order for WWE to know which country i'm in and which ad to show.

The WWE website knows/reads your IP address and knows its Irish. Each countries has different IP address blocks assigned to it as far as I know. So if your address inside an Irish Range they know you are in Ireland.

I am sure someone else here knows how it actually works?!

Naw I'm talking specifically "The Undertaker".

No "Mean Mark Callus" loopholes allowed.

And no "live shows". I'm talking TV matches.

Was thinking that, but found this.

Only time it happened. The other win was by countout.

When was the last time a wrestler in WWE has bled or "bladed" on a televised show that was scripted? Not bled by accident. Wondering as I cant remember the last time, and its sorely missed for the spectacle and in getting over a brutal match. But alas... PG...

Ever see the ads on the porn sites saying "There's a hot girl waiting for you in *your hometown* right now"

    ????

I can't answer your question but that's just the first thing that popped into my head!

Regarding Taker and Brock, i think Taker won by DQ in the ppv previous to the one in which Brock beat him in the Hell in a Cell.

As well as that he also beat him in a handicap match with the Big Show on an episode of Smackdown.

Is HHH done with the weekly Raw shows now?

Strikes me he's moved to an "Undertaker schedule", in that he'll pop up every now and again to boost a PPV card and fight at Mania, but its doubtful we'll see him on a show fulltime again for a while...

Do u think Dana white wud ever consider trying to open a wrestling company? Or even Zuffa?

They promote tings almost like a wrestlin feud and i reckon it would add a fresh feel to what the modern outluk on wrestlin is.

    What do u think?

wwe been totally scripted since about 1999-2000 because it was impossible then for vince on his own with patterson or whoever to look after a live 2hr raw, another 2hrs of sd and 14 ppvs a year

but to answer your question i would assume the last time someone bladed on wwe tv was on raw june 1st 2009, knowing the suspect involved (ric flair bleeding from the forehead), with the whole abdullah the butcher controversy it might be along time before you see blading again on wwe tv

While I'd love another fed to open, Dana never will. UFC is wrestling but accepted by mainstream and is far, far, far more profitably than a wrestling company ever will be. As such, he has no motivations to actually open one...

It will never happen in a million years. There's a very widely mistaken belief that WWE and UFC are somewhat close in their product but the reality is they aren't anywhere near each other.

Zuffa wouldn't even consider diluting their portfolio with it.

I agree, but I'd say the main reason is that UFC have a hard enough time being acceptable as a legitimate sport, since they have so many similarities to WWE, a scripted TV-show. Being associated with a 'fake sport' would do irreparable damage to their mainstream credibility.

MMA (legitimate competition) is the hot ticket, maybe in 10 years wrestling might be in better shape and more appealing. UFC are playing it extremely smart by just taking wrestling's best elements (character showcasing, simple, effective storylines and higher production values) and implementing it into their own product and having the best of both worlds.

Why did WWE change Kofi Kingston's residence from Jamaica to Ghana? Trying to appeal to an African audience perhaps, or was there a specific reason why?

Think it was because they wanted him to speak with his own accent instead of the fake Jamaican one he had so he could cut better promos.

On the subject of Kofi, the Creative Recall blog had the following included this week...
    - Remember when Kofi Kingston was Jamaican? He didn’t feel he could pull off the accent every day doing media appearances.

So it would appear as if it was Kofi who felt he couldn't keep it up, not WWE...

    A few questions.
What was WcW & ECW highest ever ppv buyrate.
What were the average tv ratings for WcW towards the end & how bad were the ppv buys towards the end.
