Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I hate posting negatively but seriously I cannot listen to it. Its pure tripe. Please RTE bring back Dave Redmond!! He'd fit in perfect into your new format.
I'm thinking of starting a petition to bring him back... any takers??

I am not a Tommy Tiernan fan at all at all, and could not beleive RTE were going down the road of getting him to present a prog, but heard it at weekend and he and Hector seem to be settling into a routine alright. Not my cup of tea but I would say it sits well with younger listeners. OK, its a little off topic but on Saturdays I have my boiled egg and mug of tae at 10am when they are starting!

I think you're being very unfair on ruth scott, perhaps its a case of you preferring a guys voice on air? personally I think shes very good, unaffected, and always a bit of craic. She experienced the same treatment as ms hayes in that her hours were reduced, but in ruths case she's just got on with it. Her delivery is good, shes not overbearing, she isnt false like some over 2fm presenters and she comes across as being natural, personally id aspire to be a presenter with those attributes, lwhat exactly is it about her you dont like?
