Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dare I say it, Nani for Gibson?

So... what are the chances of Milan scoring 3 without reply?

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,219 ✭✭✭✭Pro. F

Milan really gone off the boil. They showed, earlier, that they have the skill to make things happen, it's just a total lack of bottle from them tbh.

I wish Bill wouldn't use the term Man U

I remember somone on here saying Albertini was one of the best defensive midfielders in the world a few months ago. GOWAY.

    Serie A fanboys are funny.

You mean Ambrosini? That was Seaneh, I think. He tries hard and is Milan through and through, but to say he's world class is an insult to the likes of Xavi, Alonso, Lampard, etc.

LOL aye him. Either way he's talking dog****e.

Milan just don't have the quality to really challenge United here. Abiati can't even kick the ball out straight. Flamini just looks completely out of his depth at this level. Ronaldinho is a disgrace once again, United are destroying Jankulovski because he isn't doing a tap to help out.

I would expect Seedorf to come on for Flamini almost certainly. Maye Inzaghi for Huntelaar/Borriello.

Wow this game is a pile of ****e.

Poorest Ac milan ive ever seen. Abbiati in goal is shocking he needs to give Reina a call in how to kick a ball.

Hopefully United will face someone decent in the next round and get shown up for the average team they are this season.

Milan are shocking, the whole club needs a boot up the arse.
How did they let their squad get like this?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

Beglin ad Tlydsley(sp?) on UTV reckon it was all over with that goal. I assume they realise how away goals work and that Milan need the same 3 goals they needed before Rooney got his 2nd?

It really has been coming for a while. There was a time the likes of Ambrosini wouldnt get a look in on the Ac team.

No, 3 goals would have won it for Milan at 1-0. Now it only gets them extra time.

Average teams get shown up in the group stages and are out of the CL places in the league, they don't humble AC Milan at the San Siro and then at home. Trying to think of an example...oh yeah LIVERPOOL.

Just after he scored hey said somethign along the lines of "Rooney scores the goal that takes Utd to the quarter final"

Yes, but wether Utd had 1 or 2 , Milan still needed 3.

No no I admit Liverpool are terrible this season.

Ive watched United alot this season and they are way below what they used to be. I would guess Inter,Chelsea and Barca would be too much for United. I havent seen much of Real but id also think theyd get one over on them from the things ive been hearing and a Bayern team (when they want to).

United are very solid but thats down to having a great manager and having one of the worlds best strikers in Rooney.

This AC team are no measuring stick. Even Liverpool on their current form would beat AC I reckon.
