I have a number of toons of different classes, and was wondering is there any way of only enabling addons to start depending on the toon im loging in. For example, I have a 80 dudu and 80 rogue. No way my Quick Rogue Info is going to be needed on the Dudu (and is actually quite annoying), and vice versa with the rogue and healbot.

And then the low level toons need sweet FA loaded.

But im forgetful. Is there a way of assigning loading addons based on which toon i click on? It would be very handy for me.

    :D

    [and if not, why not!]

Yeah, there's a dropdown menu in the addon interface at your chracter screen the allows you to choose whether to apply your addons to all character or specific ones with each of their names listed. That's what you were asking right?

It wasn't always there. It's there since the add-on manager was implemented which was around the time of 2.0/TBC.

So yeah, don't feel too bad, noob. ;)

while it's all well and good being able to do it from there, i find an ingame manager also helpful

atm i am using OptionHouse@wowinterface. gives an extra button on the game menu that shows up a AH size window with all the addons in your Addon folder. You can turn on/off on the fly with just a /reoladui to effect it.

Goign to give that a whirl jabberwock, thanks

forgot to mention that any changes you make are only made to that character. so the dropdown that the others mention can also be used.

i know the custom UIs on wow interface use an addon called Reflux to auto set full UI's so that might do a more specialised version if thats what your looking for? never used it myself but could be worth researching if your bored :)
