new boiler costs + heating controls

will have to get a new boiler +heating controls fitted have grant but now over 3 months so may have to reapply what would the cost of fitting condincing boiler have been told this is best one +heating controls. had a glow worm space saver model 40-50 rf old 20 years so time for it to retire. have 12 rads 1700sqft 4 bed

A lot depends on location and who you get. Typically Id think you would pay in the region of 3.5k - 4k for the improvements you mention. Get yourself 3 prices from contractors who are on the SEI approved list.

I'm in the process of getting quotes on this. The two I have gotten so far are almost identical and just under €3k for boiler + controls.
